Monday, November 26, 2018
MILLINGTON, Tenn. (Nov. 26, 2018) – Memphis Mayhem Grudgefest raced on Saturday and it concluded Memphis International Raceway’s 2018 season. Grudge matchups, the final Stock/Super Stock race of the season, and a Small Tire Shootout resulted in an exciting afternoon of racing.

Craig Fowler, from Brighton, TN, took home first place in the Small Tire Ladder Bar Shootout. Fowler was racing his chrome 67 Chevy Nova, and he coasted to an easy victory in the finals after his competitor’s car had mechanical issues and was leaking water in the burn out box. With his competition unable to race, Fowler took the win and the $750 in prize money.

Bo Gordon, from Merigold MS, brought his 93 Ford Mustang to race in the Small Tire Stock Suspension Shootout. His competition in the finals faced unsurmountable mechanical problems in the pits and was unable to make the call to the staging lanes for the finals. Gordon took the win, along with the $1,250 in prize money.

In the final stock/super stock race of the season, TD Holland, from Huntington, TN faced Jimmy Ray, out of Atoka, TN in the finals. Holland raced his 68 AMC to victory, running a 10.051 on a 10.05 DI at 129.50 mph, with a .017 reaction. Ray’s runner up pass was a 10.866 on his 10.90 DI at 126.00 mph, with a .046 reaction time.
