Triple Nickels Canceled

Thursday, November 8, 2018

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2018) – Due to the forecasts calling for less than favorable weekend temperatures, the management of Memphis International Raceway (MIR) is canceling the Triple Nickel Race scheduled for November 9-11, 2018.

Safety is a priority for track conditions and our racers at MIR. The weekend forecasts show a cold front moving through the Mid-South, rendering the dragstrip unsafe. MIR wanted to give our racers and fans enough notice of the cancellation to avoid unnecessary travel.
