Memphis International Raceway Enhances Staff with Addition of Cartwright and Williford

January 12, 2012 (Millington, Tenn.) – Memphis International Raceway (MIR) welcomes Paul Cartwright and Glynn Williford to the team.Cartwright joins MIR as Director of Operations and Williford as Director of Sales & Marketing.

They will assist in the growth of Memphis International Raceway as we head into our first full season of racing since Moroso Investment Partners acquired the facility in 2011.  
Cartwright joins the MIR team as the Director of Operations and brings a wide range of experience and knowledge from the industry to MIR. Cartwright will be responsible for the growth and development of current racing programs as well as development and implementation of new programs.   Cartwright served as Race Operations Manager in Memphis under the former ownership group as well as Drag Manager for Heartland Park in Topeka, KS and NO Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA.
Williford joins the MIR team as the Director of Sales & Marketing and will be responsible for enhancing, developing and growing sponsorships, group ticket sales, hospitality, suites and expo areas of Memphis International Raceway.  Williford, a native of Jackson, Tennessee brings considerable local and regional industry experience having been raised in the sport and being a part of the sport and industry for several years.
