Summit Bracket Series presented by COMP Cams Results

Tuesday, June 3, 2014

The sixth race of the 2014 Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams took place Saturday evening under the lights at Memphis International Raceway. The competition heated up on the track as teams are vying for a spot in the IHRA Division 2 Team Finals - October 3-5, 2014.

Drew Mann Tracey brought home his third straight victory in the R.T. Turbines Jr. Dragsters class and took over the points lead after Saturday's win. Billy Foster Sr. garnered his first win of the 2014 season in the R.T. Turbines D.O.T Street class. Also, the Summit Super Series points battle is the closest it's been all year with only one point separating the top-three.

"It was a perfect night for racing," stated Paul Cartwright, Director of Race & Facility Operations. "After the weather we've been having, it was great to see the Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams get in a full night of racing. We had a bit of a delay to clean up oil on the track so it was a late night. We appreciate everyone being patient and thank you for coming out."

R.T. Turbines Jr. Dragsters

The young guns of the sport were out in full force again this weekend with nine contestants battling it out for top prize in R.T. Turbines Jr. Dragsters.
